The euro is due to bottom out in the first half of 2019 as weak economic data coming out of the single currency area continues to stumble, says Georgette Boele, a senior FX strategist at ABN Amro. The expected feeble growth out of the eurozone has prompted the Dutch bank to downgrade the euro’s performance against a number of its peers for the remainder of the year.
