
Barclays global head of eFX trading joins FMX
Shterenberg previously held senior algo execution and G10 FX trading roles

Alex Shterenberg has left Barclays to join Fenics Markets Exchange (FMX), BGC’s electronic rates and foreign exchange trading platforms group, in a senior managing director role.
According to a LinkedIn update, Shterenberg joined FMX last month after more than five years at the UK bank.
He was most recently global head of G10 and emerging markets eFX trading in New York, where he was responsible for the bank’s global electronic FX trading business.
