Allied Irish Strategy Review Sinks FORTIS Marketing Plans

Following a strategic review of its information technology plans, Allied Irish Bank (AIB) has decided to discontinue marketing its Front Office Real Time Information System (FORTIS) data distribution and decision-support system. Ironically, the decision comes just one month after FORTIS went live at its first customer site, at the London offices of commodity broker Rudolf Wolff.
