Credit Suisse Moves To Run Global Options From New York

In a further move to develop its new integrated options trading business, Credit Suisse appointed Mark Galant late last month as head of global options--and elected to run its options book out of New York. Galant, who came to the bank from Chemical Bank 18 months ago, is in the process of hiring traders to staff desks in New York and London, say bank officials.
