Currency Swap Activity Hits Peak In First Half Of 1991, ISDA Says

Despite expectations that swap market activity would likely moderate in the first half of 1991 given the effects of impending accounting changes, the number and amount of currency swaps written in the first six months reached a new peak, according to the latest International Swap Dealers Association (ISDA) survey.
