
Chemical Bank Starts New York Night Desk Citi's Zales Snared To Keep Oil Burning

Chemical Bank opened an overnight foreign exchange trading desk in New York early last month and hired Mark Zales, formerly of Citibank's night desk, to run it, according to Managing Director of Foreign Exchange, David Puth.
"We put a great premium on our corporate customers and we felt that we needed to offer them more than just twelve hours a day service," says Puth.
The night desk, which began operating on May 6, is open from 4:00 p.m. EDT to midnight. But Puth says the success of the group
