SocGen Plans Roll-Out Of Tantus/EBS Interface For Its Foreign Exchange Traders World-Wide


Societe Generale is the first user of a new offering from trading software vendor Tantus--of what is believed to be the first commercially available interface that links the Tantus Dealing System (TDS) to the Electronic Broking Service (EBS), say Tantus officials.

At SocGen's request, Tantus built the interface to automatically track trader positions that go through EBS, eliminating dual entry of orders. Chris Sitton, SocGen's project manager for international market activities, claims that the
