
Bank Of America To Reopen NY FX Desk Jan. 1? Godwin Hired As Chief Dealer, Sources Say

Bank of America (BOA) will reopen its New York foreign exchange desk January 1, 1991, and former Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) dealer David Godwin, has been hired to head up the operation, sources say.
Although Yale Fisher, senior vice president at BOA in charge of foreign exchange NA says "at this point in time I'm not prepared to comment on whether we are or whether we're not," he adds "Bank of America will open operations when and where they see opportunities."
