Knight boosts New Jersey data centre

JERSEY CITY, NJ - To meet the demands of its growing electronic trading business, broker-dealer Knight Capital Group is adding extra space in its data centre and on its trading floor, according to a senior official.

Knight is extending its current data centre, also used for its foreign exchange business Hotspot FX, by 4,200 square feet, according to Steven Sadoff, executive vice-president and CIO of Knight.
