ISE down in FX options

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) reported a 61.4% drop in average daily foreign exchange options contract volumes in November, versus the same period last year.

The exchange said last Monday (December 1) that 2,700 contracts were traded on average a day last month compared with the 7,000 in November 2007. On a year to November basis, however, the exchange experienced a 121.9% rise in average daily volumes, with 7,100 contracts traded a day.
