Reuters Plans Real-Time 'Dealt Rate Ticker'For Dealing 2000-1 And 2000-2 Trading Systems

In a move that is likely to prove controversial in the foreign exchange market, Reuters is planning to launch a last-trade foreign exchange price feed on its Reuter terminal sometime early next year, say company officials. The service, to be called the Dealt Rate Ticker (DRT) will give participating banks access to the most recent traded price on the Dealing 2000-1 and 2000-2 systems, according to international marketing manager Robert Etherington.
