First Interstate Bank of California has named Robert Connor chief dealer of its Los Angeles foreign exchange trading operation. Connor, who is slated to start September 1, according to Robert White, foreign exchange manager at the bank in L.A. Connor has been named to replace Jamie Silverman, who left the bank in May.
