Prebon Canada Overhauls Trading Floor

TORONTO--Prebon Yamane has installed an Alliance MX Digital Trading System from IPC Communications in a new trading floor in Toronto, along with communications lines from Ixnet, the net working arm of IPC. Analysts say this could be the first step in overhauling its voice trading and data distribution system.

The deal announced last week is for a 50 position trading room that was relocated from one floor to another in a building in Toronto’s financial district.

The deal includes the Alliance MX
