Société Générale in New York plans an early-July consolidation of trading at its new Avenue of the Americas building. Forex traders will share a floor with colleagues in the fixed-income and derivatives markets. Securities trading will also be housed on the floor, but in a separate area. Reuters Triarch 2000 data distribution system will cater for traders' information needs, while Market Vision's Athena graphics package and Renaissance Software's derivatives software will also be installed.
