
Chicago Mercantile Exchange posts third-quarter gains
Total revenues for the exchange rose 106% to $565 million from $275 million in the third quarter 2006. Net income jumped 94% from $104 million to stand at $202 million in the third quarter. The CME’s diluted earnings per share also gained, rising 31% from $2.95 in Q3, 2006 to reach $3.87.
