
Reuters cuts EM options brokerage fees in half

Officials at Reuters told FX Week the system experienced its busiest month to date in November, a month after adding the capability for emerging market currency options trading. The brokerage fees – half what are charged on voice brokered options – will challenge other brokers in the market as banks look to cut trading costs, according to market participants.
