
BoC taps EBS Spot, sets up FX desks

Via the portal, BoC (Beijing) will have access to real-time FX prices from counterparties around the globe, allowing it to trade in the G7 and other majors. A panel on the EBS Spot platform will show six pairs per price, providing the Chinese bank with depth and liquidity.
The latest development at BoC (Beijing) comes amid a trading floor build-up at the bank's Beijing headquarters. BoC (Beijing) is looking to set up five trading desks in Beijing by the end of January.
