Pit Info Plans May 10 Launch For Electronic Data Service

After eight months' delay, Pit Info Corp. plans to go live from four currency pits at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) on May 10. The electronic market-data service will provide continuous updates on currency futures prices to screens in dealing rooms. This will include information on the nature of activity in the pits, as well as providing names of buyers and sellers and the quantities they have dealt.
