Amex Bank Builds Risk-Management To Support Derivatives Expansion

American Express Bank is installing a global risk management system and a global database for its derivatives operation as a prelude to an expansion in derivatives and foreign exchange, including a true global book in options, according to global treasurer Ian Jardine. He says the bank wants to ensure it has all the necessary infrastructure in place before it steps up activity.
