Citi raises $6.25 million through 'E for Education' campaign

The bank’s FX and local markets business raises more than $22.5m since the campaign's launch in 2013

Citi has raised $6.25 million as part of its annual ‘E for Education’ campaign, a 10 week-long charity initiative to raise money for education-focused non-profits.

The bank’s foreign exchange and local markets (FXLM) business has raised more than $22.5 million since the campaign launched five years ago, by donating $1 for every $1 million of FX that clients traded via a broad range of electronic platforms, including Citi Velocity.

Funds raised will be shared equally between seven non-profit
