More PBs could head towards the exit after margin rules kick in

The advent of uncleared margin rules in September this year will place huge pressure on FX prime brokers (FXPBs), more of whom could pull out as a result of rising costs and, while clearing could become relatively cheaper than it currently is, the cost of doing business will go up regardless of which road they go down on, panellists at the 13th FX Week USA conference said.
