DoJ requests information on TP-Icap broking deal

Tullett Prebon is set to acquire Icap's global hybrid voice-broking business

Seeking clarification: the DoJ's request is expected to add an additional 30 days

The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has requested additional information on the proposed shareholding and governance arrangements of Tullett Prebon's acquisition of Icap's global hybrid voice-broking and information business (IGBB), announced on November 11, 2015, from both companies.

"Tullett Prebon understands the DoJ's review is focused on the proposed post-completion shareholding and governance arrangements between Tullett Prebon and Icap Newco," said Tullett Prebon in a statement.
