SEB eyes FX growth in London under new regional head

SEB's recent decision to appoint Shaun Barham, a 22-year veteran of the bank, as head of foreign exchange for London, is a clear sign of the Swedish bank's intentions to rebuild and expand its presence in London after it scaled back its operations during the financial crisis.

Barham, who was most recently head of FX trading in Singapore, will also oversee the bank's FX prime brokerage (FXPB) business, which was established in mid-2007 and had previously been part of the electronic FX division in
