In May 2010, Campbell Adams, a senior foreign exchange trader with experience at Citi, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, and most recently product manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at EBS, left the firm to start up his own consultancy, FX Pure. In collaboration with a number of banks, the aim of FX Pure was simple: to create a new platform for FX trading that would address some of the issues that had frustrated banks on primary platforms such as EBS.
