FX Week Europe: Decimalised pricing gaining traction

Decimalised pricing is fast becoming a recognised industry standard in foreign exchange, but it brings with it a number of challenges and is reducing the overall size of transactions, according to participants in a panel discussion at FX Week Europe in London yesterday.

A large number of multibank and single-bank FX trading platforms have now moved to decimalisation, which means prices are quoted to the fifth decimal place, with the most recent being Icap's EBS platform, which moved to decimals
