Tod Van Name joined Bloomberg as a currency derivatives specialist in 2006, six years after the firm first entered the foreign exchange market. Based in New York, his responsibility was to provide FX market and application expertise to banks, corporates and asset managers across the Americas. Last year, he was promoted to global head of Bloomberg FX and economics.
As for many of his competitors in the FX trading space, much of Van Name's time is taken up with preparing for regulatory change
