StanChart links with Progress Apama

SINGAPORE - Standard Chartered confirmed last week that traders in New York, London, Dubai and Singapore began using an FX liquidity aggregator by Progress Apama to connect to five electronic communications networks in November ( FX Week , November 3, 2008).

The bank is connecting to the undisclosed ECNs via an application programming interface.

Todd McDonald, StanChart's head of FX electronic pricing and trading in Singapore told FX Week last November the bank hopes to eventually aggregate
