ISE adds Sfr and AUD FX options

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) launched trading of options on the Australian dollar and Swiss franc versus the US dollar on February 21. Greenwich-based market-maker Timber Hill will serve as primary market-maker for the new products.

The ISE launched FX options trading last April, with open interest growing to 405,590 contracts on January 31 (FX Week, April 23, 2007). Average daily trading volume was a record 10,505 contracts last month, the ISE said
