Currenex cuts update limits

NEW YORK - Foreign exchange trading platform Currenex is preparing to roll out a recently launched low-latency datafeed based on user datagram protocol (UDP) data transmission technologies to a second round of clients, to help high-frequency FX traders better manage latency and bandwidth issues, officials say.

Currenex chief technology officer Sean Gilman said 11 of the platform’s clients have already begun using the new feed to support live trading, with around five more large broker-dealers
