Chase Launches Chase Trader FX System Targets Corporates, Institutions And Banks

Chase Manhattan Bank's Chase InforServ International division launched an on-line foreign exchange trading and settlement system last week aimed at corporate and institutional customers as well as other banks. The system, Chase Trader, joins an already crowded field of small-trade order execution and confirmation systems.

The system, which is similar in may respects to those offered by Bank of America, Citibank and Chemical Bank, is currently installed at nine sites in the U.S. Chase also plans
