CIBC In London Snares Five From Chemical Half Its Proprietary Desk, Chief Spot Dealer Hall

As expected (FX Week, February 22), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's (CIBC) London branch has set its expansion plans in motion. The bank, which is planning to hire some 40 traders this year in an effort to increase its foreign exchange presence in London, just added five new traders to its roster. All five were from Chemical Bank in London, among them Chemical's chief spot dealer, Patrick Hall.
Aside from Hall, CIBC also hired three of Chemical's six proprietary traders. They are Gordon
