European Market Makers Say Matif's Currency Options Plan A Non-Starter

Market makers in European currency options are downright dubious about the prospects for a planned currency option contract from the Matif (Marche a Terme International de France). But they also underline the influence that major French corporations wield in exchange-traded currency options markets.
