Philadelphia Stock Exchange Alters Spread Parameters On FX Options

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange altered the spread parameters for all its currency option products except the Canadian dollar. The move, which exchange officials say will make the markets tighter and more efficient, went into effect at the start of trading Monday, April 1.

"For somebody who just wants to take a peek and see what the market is, it looks tighter," says PHLX vice president, marketing, Paul Adair. He also expects that the tighter quotes will help attract new business.

But he says that

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
