Telerate's Trading System Struggles In London Liquidity, Slate Input Still Dampens Enthusiasm

Despite bank's desire to see a viable competitor to the Reuters dealing systems, the Telerate Trading Service (TTS) continues to struggle for acceptance in London. An informal survey of some TTS users in London shows only a few enthusiasts, largely among the big British clearing banks. Others have either gotten rid of the system, or find they make little use of it. Telerate officials in London didn't return calls by press time.
