As expected (FX Week, January 31) Salomon Brothers posted more modest foreign exchange trading revenue in 1991. Salomon refused to comment on just how dramatically forex gains slid in the year or why.

Andrew Krieger is back in the Wall Street Journal again, but this time he's advertising to attract "end users" to his forex advisory firm. Jonathan Berg, a principal in the New Jersey-based KB Currency Advisors says the company "isn't really interested in publicity," and declined to comment
