Tradition To Open Mark/Yen Desk This Month Link With Marshall's In London Established

Tradition Berisford L.P.'s New York office, which went on a diet last fall after expanding in the first six months of 1991, is taking a new tack in 1992, according to officials there. Plans include opening a Deutsche mark/yen cross rate desk, beefing up its forward brokerage operation and adding EMS crosses to its repertoire.

Anthony Sagona, who is now solely responsible for Tradition's foreign exchange operation in New York, declined to comment, but officials at the Swiss-based money broker say
