A year after the beginning of the Gulf War, the banking scene in the Middle East has still not returned to normal. Banks in Kuwait and Bahrain, formerly significant in foreign exchange, remain in disarray. But according to sources in London, Saudi Arabian banks are moving in to fill the gap.
