CME Pushes Back Launch Date For Deutsche Mark Rolling Spot

Due to physical constraints in the Deutsche mark pit on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's new upper trading floor, the expected July 20 launch of the dollar/mark rolling spot futures contract will be delayed.

A solution was reached at a July 14 meeting of the foreign currency committee, and a new launch date of September 14 will be recommended to the board of directors, exchange officials say.
