Lloyds Bank Cuts Seven From Euro Trading Desk

LONDON--Lloyds Bank has cut seven spot traders from its London team, according to a bank spokesperson.

The majority of the cuts have been made from the euro desk; although the spokesperson declines to name the members of staff affected.

The spokesperson adds that the downsizing of the forex team has been anticipated for some time and reflects the introduction of the euro at the start of the year.

The staff who are affected will be redeployed or leave the bank at the end of June.
