Deutsche, Fuji Launch Web Based FX Trading For Japan Operations

TECHNOLOGY

TOKYO--Deutsche Bank launched internet foreign exchange trading for its corporate and institutional customers in Japan on March 16. Deutsche becomes the first non-Japanese bank to initiate such a service -- Sanwa said in February it would have a service up and running by early March.

Last week Fuji Bank announced that it was planning to launch a foreign exchange trading system for its clients via the internet in April. And later this summer Sumitomo says its own in-house system will go live.
