EMU Dominates 'Matif Day' Marking Tenth Anniversary

Matif, the French futures exchange, will adapt its product range and create "the best market conditions" in the event of a single European currency, said Gerard Pfauwadel, chairman and chief executive officer for Matif, at a conference in London on July 1. The conference theme: "European Monetary Union: Which Way Will the Market Go?" focused primarily on the implications of a single currency on the financial markets.
