
Hatori-Marshall Quits Voice Broking Spot Yen In Tokyo

The rise of electronic broking in Tokyo has reduced the number of companies offering voice broking to three with the recent move by Hatori-Marshall to withdraw from the dollar/yen spot market.
In April, for the first time electronic broking claimed more than half the spot market with 52.19 per cent of trades, sources say. The advance continued in May and in June, when electronic broking accounted for an all-time high of 56.95 per cent of foreign exchange spot trades.
