Royal Bank Of Canada Reorganises North American Trading Division


Royal Bank of Canada has shuffled senior traders in Toronto to realign its North American foreign exchange team following the recent closure of the New York trading operation (FX Week, January 24), officials say. Richard Barnett has returned to RBC to head the bank's spot currency desk, after a 10-month stint away.

"We are getting people in the right slots to take advantage of everything that we've done," says Ian MacKay, senior vice president of treasury in Toronto.
