GENEVA--Size does matter, according to senior forex officials speaking at Forex '98 in Geneva over the June 4-6 weekend. "Consolidation will lead to three dominant market players," said Andrew Siciliano, global head of FX, rates and precious metals for the new UBS AG in Stamford, Connecticut. "It's not natural to have hundreds of competitors, it's natural to have three firms--two leaders and one playing catch up--and that's true for all industries."
