Westpac To Send Prager To Sydney To Head Global Derivatives Unit

Westpac Banking Corp. named Richard Prager senior vice president and chief manager, global derivatives last week. Prager, previously vice president in charge of all risk-based trading in New York, says he will move to the bank's headquarters in Sydney by the end of January.
Prager says the bank's decision to create the new post underlines "Westpac's commitment to this product range. What the bank is doing is taking a lot of its existing strategies and bringing them together under one umbrella,"
