WestLB Opens Room In Sydney, In Line With A-P Expansion Plans

Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (WestLB) is expanding its forex activities in the Asia-Pacific region and has recently opened a treasury operation in Sydney under Sean Saxon, says Stefan Leusder, regional head for Asia.
Leusder says the operation in Sydney will focus on the customer driven side of the business. "WestLB set up an office [in Sydney] around 20 years ago and after careful consideration, made the decision to create a niche, specializing in customer business," he says.
