SocGen Launches Emerging Markets Forex Trading Desk Under Chapman

Societe Generale launched a new emerging markets currency trading desk in London under newly recruited Tim Chapman, officials say. The desk has been operating since the beginning of January and initially covers spot and forward FX in Asian and some Central European currencies.
Chapman, formerly head of Asian currencies at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in London, is supported by deputy head Jeremy Hodges, who has shifted onto the new desk from his position as a senior forwards dealer for
