Amsterdam Exchange Launches U.S. Dollar Futures Contract

The Amsterdam Financial Futures Market is expected to launch the first U.S. dollar futures contract Friday, September 27. Priced in Dutch guilders but settled in dollars, the $25,000 contract will have 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 12 month expiration dates in parity with the existing dollar options contract trading at the European Options Exchange in Amsterdam. Ticks will be expressed in Dutch cents.
