Harlow Butler Looks To Eastern Europe As Bright Spot For Future

Harlow Butler is opening a new operation in Prague, indicating that such emerging markets may well prove a bright spot for the brokerage industry. The new money broking company starts trading on July 1 and will cover both spot and forward FX and local money markets, say officials.

The operation is headed by Miroslav Vondrak, previously director of the FX and money market department of the Investinchi a Postovni Bank. He is joined by two Czech colleagues and a senior Harlow spot broker, Michael
