"ACI only has a future if it enhances its stature as a professional association," said Association de Cambistes International president Willy Kestens at the second annual European Forex Congress in Strasbourg last week. "ACI has been considered a social club for too long, and its meetings considered holidays. That must change." Kestens, speaking to a crowd of some 600 forex traders, stressed the importance of raising the group's profile both in the media and with central banks.
